Cryptid Vault makes no claims about the actual existence, behavior, or danger level of any creature described on this site. Evidence ratings reflect the state of reported evidence in folklore and popular accounts, not scientific consensus. Many creatures profiled here are widely considered to be legend, misidentification, or hoax.
Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent folklore traditions and reported sightings. However, cryptozoology is a field built largely on anecdote and oral tradition. User submissions
If you submit creature suggestions, corrections, or other content via email, you grant Cryptid Vault a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to incorporate that information into site content. We will not publish your name or contact details without your permission.
We reserve the right to decline any submission and are under no obligation to add or update any specific creature profile.
